Cabin for sale for removal ( This one sold 2 weeks after commencement)

Since closing the coffee shop to general public I have been building cabins for sale for removal. My first one sold 2 weeks after I began building it. Guests who had stayed here  came and saw it and paid a deposit immediately.

It was 5.4 metres x 2.7 metres inside dimensions. It was fully insulated and lined. It had a double roof which allows for the timber trusses to be exposed along with making the whole building extra strong. Above the trusses the iron is screwed length-ways on every down corrugation. Then roof battens, insulation and sisalation.  This allows for the trusses top be exposed without  temperature transfer or dew to come inside. The floor was 100  mm cold room paneling sheeted over with yellow-tongue flooring and loose laid floor covering. The frame is 100×50 hoop pine from the old Wyreema milk factory. It had leadlight sash windows, 15 panel glass door with coloured glass side panel. It had 2 old  French mirror doors on the wardrobe, bedside shelves, wood heater with an oven and hot plate. The wood box beside the heater was able to be filled from the outside. It had a galvanized bench top with stainless sink. The table swings out from under the bench. The drawer and cupboard handles were polished copper. A small sliding window in the heater recess and a casement between robe and heater recess are both screened.  Louvres were fitted high up above kitchen sink and an old wooden ladder swings down in front of the window with the TV mounted on it. The kitchen cupboard on the right is hinged to the wall and swings out with shelves at the rear. The 3 holes on left are wine racks and 4 th one is a speaker for the 12 volt radio.

Above the robe was another horizontal door for blankets and below the doors are 2 deep drawers. The old pot on the shelf has a LED down light inside of it.The splash back is 200×300 white tiles. On the floor under the bedside shelf there is screened  lift up 200×200  door for cool air. It gave me great pleasure building it for two wonderful people who are now very close and highly thought of friends. It has since had a bathroom and  large  deck fitted after it was stumped in new location. It is fully braced and tie -down rods fitted. When it was jacked 1/2 inch one end the middle came up 1/4 inch. There is not one amount of flex. Every wall was braced with structural ply.
